We are seeking a full-time Construction Project Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to liaise effectively with subcontractors and owners. This role requires proficiency in reading and comprehending construction plans. Proficiency in computer skills, such as Word, Excel, etc., is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate efficiently with subcontractors and owners
- Interpret and understand construction plans effectively
- Utilize computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) for project management tasks
- Provide general knowledge in construction to answer questions related to specific plans and trades
- Write RFI (Request for Information) to owners/Architects
- Familiarity with submittals
Requirements:
- Prior experience in construction project estimation and/or project management
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, etc.
- General knowledge of construction practices and trades
- Ability to write effective RFIs to owners/Architects
