DIESEL MECHANIC

About the Company Founded over 75 years ago, Northern Refrigerated Transportation has evolved from a single milk truck operation into the largest refrigerated LTL transportation company on the West Coast. We operate a modern fleet that meets or exceeds our customers' and drivers' standards, with terminals located in Ontario and Turlock, California, as well as Clackamas, Oregon.

Our Turlock terminal is currently seeking a full-time diesel truck mechanic for repair and preventative maintenance (PM) support. This position operates year-round, from Tuesday to Saturday, with an initial work shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The starting pay for this position is $32 per hour, with additional benefits including:

Qualified candidates will have:

3+ years of hands-on experience as a diesel technician/mechanic

Knowledge in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and powertrains

Ownership of personal tools

Ability to read, understand, and apply information from service manuals

Diagnostic skills and strong attention to detail

Strong verbal and documentation skills
