Senior Media Analytics Manager
Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Media Analytics Manager (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable solutions to help advertisers understand and improve media budgets through the Instacart platform. Duties include: applying statistical methods, data models, system optimizations, and related techniques to automate complex analytical functions; defining project scope and deliverables for optimizing and scaling advertising metrics, data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to provide real-time insights, predictive analytics, and actionable recommendations; analyzing market drivers, campaign strategies, user data, and business goals to identify opportunities for improvement and new features; defining and implementing best practices for data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation to ensure accuracy and scalability of large-scale data pipelines; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Engineering, or other engineering field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with SQL, R, Python, or similar languages; 2 years of experience working with Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualization tools; 2 years of experience performing data warehousing and modeling, A/B tests, and applying analytics models to large data sets; and 2 years of experience building data pipelines in complex data environments.
