Job Title: Cabinet Maker

Location: Six Mile, SC

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About Us: We are a small dedicated woodworking shop specializing in custom cabinets and high-quality woodwork. We take pride in crafting unique, beautifully designed cabinetry that meets the needs and tastes of our clients. We’re looking for a skilled cabinet maker.

Responsibilities:

Custom Cabinetry Production: Measure, cut, assemble, and finish custom cabinets and other wood products based on detailed designs and specifications.

Woodworking Techniques: Utilize various woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, sanders, and jointers, to produce high-quality cabinetry.

Design Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and requirements for each project.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, functionality, and quality, ensuring they meet our high standards and client expectations.

Material Handling: Select appropriate materials for each project, ensuring the optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a cabinet maker or similar role, with a strong portfolio of previous work.

Skills: Proficiency in woodworking techniques, cabinet assembly, and finishing. Familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the cabinet-making process.

Physical Stamina: Capability to handle physical tasks associated with woodworking, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50lbs

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
