Warehouse Operations Manager (Fixed Term, 6 Months)ANINE BING is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team temporarily to cover a key team member's leave of absence. The Warehouse Operations Manager will support daily warehouse operations, enhance efficiency through collaboration and process improvement, manage special projects, develop KPIs, coordinate inventory and shipping, and assist in quality control.The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be crucial in optimizing our operations, addressing challenges with a solution-oriented approach, and ensuring efficient and seamless process execution.This role is based out of Los Angeles. Responsibilities:
Assist with Daily Operations: Support domestic and international warehouse teams with order processing, fulfillment, returns, refunds, and other day-to-day activities to ensure the smooth flow of operations. Manage month end close processes.
Support Operational Practices: Collaborate with employees at two 3PLs and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency, quality standards, and timely deliveries. Identify areas for optimization and improvement in existing practices.
Project Assistance: Help manage and execute special projects related to warehouse operations, including assisting with quality control checks and system updates.
Process Improvement: Be proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities within our operations and work with the team to implement effective solutions.
Data analysis: Work with internal and 3PL partners to develop key metrics to evaluate operational performance, identify areas of issues and opportunities, and develop solutions.
Coordination Support: Serve as the primary point of communication between HQ and 3PLs, coordinating transfer orders, resolving inventory inquiries, aiding Customer Service, and addressing operational issues.
Inventory Coordination: Work closely with our Inventory Lead to help track, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory (product and supplies) on the floor and in our system. Ensure inventory is accurately recorded and easily accessible for swift operations.
Shipping Coordination: Work with the shipping and receiving departments to help coordinate deliveries, meet inbound and outbound customs requirements / documentation, and identify opportunities for improvement in carrier rates. Assist in tracking and resolving carrier delays / claims and communicate status internally.
Support Production and Quality Control: Assist in initiating and overseeing quality control processes in collaboration with our Production team and external partners.
Requirements:
Experience in warehouse operations or a related field preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Attention to detail with excellent follow-up capabilities.
Familiarity with order management systems (Netsuite, Shopify, WMS) and excel
Understanding of shipping and receiving operations, including working with 3PLs.
Ability to work from 3PL in Commerce 2x per week.
Knowledge of customs requirements is a plus.
Bilingual a plus.
Compensation
The anticipated hourly rate for this role would be $35.00 - $40.00 an hour
