Associate Director, Advancement Operations
Description We are seeking an Associate Director, Advancement Operations to join our Education team in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. As an integral part of our team, your primary role will be to manage and optimize fundraising databases, process gifts and data entries, and collaborate with the Advancement Team to support and educate on effective database use. You will also play a crucial role in conducting donor research and utilizing data strategy to guide the department's growth.Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance the effectiveness of fundraising databases, primarily focusing on Raiser’s Edge. Handle the processing and data entry of all gifts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with the Advancement Team to provide continuous support and education on effective database use. Generate detailed donor and revenue reports/data analysis to meet the needs of the growing Advancement Department. Serve as the key liaison with Finance to guarantee accurate revenue coding. Conduct comprehensive research on current and prospective donors to inform fundraising strategies. Utilize data strategy to make informed decisions and recommendations that guide the department's growth. Ensure the accuracy of all tasks and demonstrate the ability to identify gaps and propose effective solutions. Maintain a continuous learning attitude to stay updated on new technologies and trends in the education field. Use your skills in Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, and Create Dashboards to perform your duties effectively. Requirements Proven experience in the Education sector, preferably in a managerial or leadership role Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies Strong understanding and experience in BusinessObjects Technologies Skilled in database management, with knowledge of Erwin Data Experience with EO/IR systems Proficiency in AB Testing and ability to interpret results effectively Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and its application in the Education industry Ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Documents Proficiency in creating dashboards to track and report key metrics Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred.
