Accounting Manager
Description A Management Resources client in is immediate need for an Accounting Manager Level Consultant, who will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have previous management and oversight experience, along with strong technical skills in reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. This role will involve handling high-volume transactional accounting tasks with precision and efficiency. This is a 6-month engagement and 100% remote.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operationsPerform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare and post journal entries for various transactionsAssist with month-end close procedures, including preparing financial statements and variance analysisReview and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularitiesEnsure compliance with accounting principles and company policiesProvide guidance and support to accounting team membersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiencyContribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and proceduresQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or equivalent certification preferredPrevious experience in a management or supervisory roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Ppl Soft)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with remote work and virtual collaboration preferred Requirements ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Month End Close, Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Month-end Journal Entries, Posting Journal Entries, Management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
