Design, develop, and test software for embedded systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
Optimize software performance and memory usage.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
Document software design and development processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments.
Participate in project planning and management activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in embedded software development.
Active Secret Clearance
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C, and assembly language.
Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with embedded development tools and environments (e.g., Keil, IAR, GCC, Eclipse).
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience with ARM Cortex-M series or other popular microcontroller families.
Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
