Junior Machine Operator

We are looking for a Junior Machine Operator to support the set up, maintain, and operate machinery efficiently.
As a Junior Machine Operator at Lingrove, your primary responsibility would be to support the machine operations in the manufacturing process of these composite materials. You will be responsible for working with a core team ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained, while collaborating with co-workers to help our team achieve a high level of productivity. Responsibilities
Assist with machinery setup and initial troubleshooting process
Support production run operations including material transfers from warehouse
Operate roll to roll converting machinery and material handling equipment safely
Assist machinery maintenance
Support quality control efforts, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems internally
Edit and maintain activity logs
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
Requirements
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months experience in machine operating within a manufacturing facility.
Experience troubleshooting various production or manufacturing equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work procedures, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in different units of measurement.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand or walk for extended periods.
Willingness to work in shifts (including late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).
Nice-to-Haves
Understanding of converting production and plant processes.
Proficiency with computers (spreadsheets, documents, etc.).
Knowledge of material transfer from material to production.
Prior experience with inventory management.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification once hired.
About the Role
You will be working onsite from our San Rafael, CA office. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - 50,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
