At Kuleana Rum Works, our Mission is “To discover, make, and share delicious rum and celebrate the richness of Hawaii in everything we do.” One way we accomplish this is through our “best of island” restaurant and bar at the Kuleana Rum Shack on the Kohala Coast. “The Shack” is where we bring the essence of our hand-crafted Hawaiian rums to life through our food, craft cocktail and tasting programs.

To further grow and elevate our leadership and management team, we are currently looking for an experienced, committed, customer focused individual to join our Kuleana 'Ohana as Front of House Manager. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

· Multiple years of restaurant experience delivering results while driving personal and team growth and development.

· Robust knowledge of POS software, FOH/BOH Operations, financial awareness

· Demonstrated talent to place the Customer Experience first and deliver a highly satisfied guest interaction.

· Proven record of leading people and teams, coaching/teaching effectively, and identifying and developing talent.

· Craft cocktail knowledge a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent and support the Kuleana Mission, Purpose and Core Values as Manager on Duty (MOD) each shift to deliver a “5 Star” guest experience to every guest.

Support GM and team through engagement in hiring, training, and retaining top of class FOH staff.

· Supports GM and leadership team by following established operational policies, procedures, checklists etc. and holds fellow staff accountable for doing the same.

Manage staff workgroup or workgroups as assigned to ensure appropriate shift staffing levels and support Kuleana Rum Shack operations and GM.

Actively participates in operational meetings, strategy sessions, etc. to push efficiencies in operations, customer satisfaction, new projects and brand development as appropriate.

· Willingness to work nights, weekends, and Holidays.
