Osseo Area Schools is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our students, staff, and community through a variety of engaging events. We're seeking a dynamic and organized Building Supervisor to ensure the success of these events and maintain smooth operations.

Are you skilled at multitasking and passionate about event management? Join us as a part-time Building Supervisor, overseeing school events and ensuring they run seamlessly and safely. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work as much or as little as you'd like.

Responsibilities:

Accommodate users without permits and handle permit-related issues.

Review facility permits and set up special equipment as requested.

Greet guests, provide directions, and accommodate special requests.

Communicating in a manner that serves to diffuse confrontations.

Controlling access to spaces as needed and authorized by permit.

Monitor facility usage and promptly respond to requests and emergencies; calling 911 if necessary.

Remaining alert to potentially unsafe situations and notifying custodians of unsafe conditions; stopping any unsafe or questionable activities.

Assist with event teardown and ensure facility cleanliness.

Submit required reports and maintain communication with Community Education Facilities Scheduling.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED; over 18 years old.

Salary/Work Schedule:

$17.00/hour; Casual, Part-time, hours vary depending on event schedules.

Events occur outside regular school hours: Elementary School shifts from 6 PM - 9:30 PM, M-F; Secondary School shifts from 5 PM - 10 PM, M-F; Weekends vary.
