Summary Descriptionnbkc bank is currently looking for aCompliance Analystto join our Compliance team.As a Compliance Analyst, you will support the risk management function in the development, testing, and implementation of projects and initiatives to monitor and reduce risks to the bank. This role will have a primary focus in compliance quality assurance reviews of our banks Fintech partner programs including reviewing customer accounts and processes to ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to analyze accounts and business processes for errors, recommend remediation to business units and partners, ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects, demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. This role will work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with internal business units as well as external business partners to continuously enhance the banks compliance management program.You will be an essential part in the execution of the banks compliance program so that the bank complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will work with our Fintech partner programs in the implementation and oversight of a successful compliance program. Additional job duties can be assigned at any time due to expanded activities from the bank, holding company or regulators.What youll do

Work closely with other internal departments as well as external business partners to develop business and functional requirements and ensure the banks systems meet all regulatory and performance expectations.

Assist in reviewing and providing guidance to products and services offered by the banks fintech partnerships.

Participate in bank initiatives and projects to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Perform regulatory compliance research, analysis, and interpretation; make recommendations to management based on changes in legal and regulatory environment.

Review policies and procedures and recommend changes based on risks identified or changes in laws and regulations.

Assist in the completion of various bank risk assessments.

Assist with building testing scenarios for compliance quality assurance reviews.

Conduct testing and quality assurance activities, review accounts for accuracy with laws and regulations including with the Truth in Savings Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and other financial regulations.

Assist in conducting initial and ongoing due diligence and compliance reviews of business partners, vendors, and Fintech programs.

Assist in reviewing the Fintech programs marketing and advertising materials for adherence with laws and regulations.

Follows all applicable laws and regulations.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

What youll bring

Minimum of 3+ years in a financial institution, preferably at least 3+ years of job specific work experience with federal and state compliance laws and regulations and compliance risk management

Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented

Ability to analyze and interpret information, exercise judgement, and be flexible in job duties and assignments.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ideal candidate will have an interest in risk management

Ability to work independently and in group settings

Bonus Points

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Professional regulatory certification (CRCM, CAMS, CFE, etc.)

Knowledge of Lexis Nexis, BSA/AML software, and other compliance related systems
