We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world.The Central Divisional General Manager, Medical is critical in orchestrating the seamless integration of the medical capabilities to deliver comprehensive solutions that address the holistic needs of customers and patients across the rare disease landscape.Main Responsibilities:Across the Rare Disease Nation and our ‘one team, common goals, single mission’ approach, this Medical role will be expected to oversee all Medical Strategic Account Directors and Community Regional Medical Liaisons in their given region, ensuring all activities and strategies roll up into a cohesive Sanofi approach in manner that complies with Sanofi policies and regulations.

Oversee rollout of Medical strategy, account plans, and align Medical Strategic Account Director activities to global and local medical priorities within your division

Support development of a roadmap to take the Rare Disease medical organization from present to future state.

Ensure Medical Strategic Account Director performance goals are met through monitoring, reporting, and resource management .

Drive internal collaboration with Medical Strategic Account Directors across key accounts within your division to generate field insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Identify and support Medical Strategic Account Director innovation and field excellence initiatives to differentiate Sanofi's medical offerings.

Demonstrate value for the business and customers by coaching and developing the Medical Strategic Account Directors as leaders.

Implement talent engagement and retention strategies, including career development plans, to build a strong Medical Strategic Account Team.

Expand and leverage relationships across functional and corporate boundaries to implement Medical Strategic Account Team strategies and synchronize work processes.

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and governance processes.

Lead the overall strategy and long-term planning for the organization, including workforce planning and operational efficiency.

Responsible for managing medical field budgets, in partnership with their commercial counterpart.

Recruit, hire, develop, and manage medical talent, provide performance oversight to consistently exceed brand objectives

About you

Advanced medical/science degree

High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems, the evolving medical landscape, regulatory and payer environment, public health and industry trends to accurately identify key issues and develop strategies.

Prior experience as an MSL and with field team management

Ability to effectively participate in multi-disciplinary teams to set and meet business goals and objectives.

Thinks strategically leveraging knowledge of general business practice, the industry, medical practice and Sanofi strategic objectives to create a team strategy to achieve commitments.

Proven ability to utilize appropriate time and project management strategies and agility, to manage complex environment and motivate and guide management teams with the multiple skill levels.

Demonstrated record of people-development

Proven record of successful change management, a ‘Change Champion’ mindset
