RISE Early Education Academy is in Billerica, MA.

Multicultural quality educational childcare program for children ages 2 year 9 months to 5 years and afterschool program for school age children. Our program curriculum builds on hands-on and activity-based age-appropriate learning that makes learning process interesting and exciting for children and teachers. The program is enriched with an additional foreign language learning. RISE Early Education Academy is a privately owned start up school for 20 children.

Our mission is to nurture and develop young minds in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

We are looking for a licensed director who is energetic, creative, organized, a team player, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is passionate to make a difference in children’s lives, nurture and educate them with love and care, and who wants to apply their skills and knowledge and challenge themselves in building high quality program for the children. The ideal candidate will be tolerant to foreign cultures and languages.

Job Responsibilities:

Effectively work with the owners of the childcare

Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.

Management of the facility, employees, curriculum, staff policies and procedures of the program

Oversee the operation and help to manage all aspects of the center such as:

- Customer and community relations.

- Employee management and professional development.

- Quality control and management within the budget.

- Built and execute the English version of the program.

- Teach in the classroom as part of coverage to meet EEC regulations and to support staff in working with children.

- Assist staff in enriching their curriculum.

- Overseeing the quality of care and education of children by reviewing learning plans, observing the implementation of learning plans by all staff, making corrections, completing performance reviews, reviewing reports and portfolios.

- Arranging professional development for all staff.

- Institute good relations with licensing authorities.

- Maintaining and managing all aspects of licensing and accreditation.

- Tour the center to potential students and their families to drive enrollment process and following up with families.

- Manage the process of recruitment of families through direct, hard copy and electronic means, with the goal of maintaining consistent and reasonable enrollment.

- Manage social media as center representative.

- Implement marketing and promotional initiatives within the community.

- Attending meetings and events as a representative of Strong Start.

- Networking to establish necessary contacts, referral sources, and other relationships in the community, particularly those in the early childhood community.

- Recruiting, hiring, management, disciplinary action, and termination of faculty and staff.

- Supervising outside contractors for cleaning and maintenance.

- Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

Administrative: 1 year (Required) or 1 year in assistant director position.

Teaching: 1 year (Required)

Management: 1 year (Preferred)

CPR & First Aid Certificates required

Strong knowledge of EEC guidelines for licensing and renewal processes

Outgoing personality

Ability to easily engage in conversation

Strong customer service, organization, and listening skills.

Ability to move around the building, lift and move 50 lbs.

Vision and hearing must be corrected to allow for the safe supervision of children.

Ability to work with English learners and children with special needs.

License:

MA DEEC D1, P LT, I/T LT (Required)

Language:

English (Required); Russian or any foreign language is a plus.
