Cook/Kitchen Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook/kitchen manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Also willing to take on kitchen manager position to be able to hire the right staff around them a bonus.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean, well-organized, and meets all safety standards
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
- Assist in creating new dishes and menu items
- Oversee food preparation and presentation
- Adhere to food safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with food production, catering, bar, coffee, and POS systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a team is desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices
