Public Relations Manager
Description Robert Half is seeking a contract Public Relations Manager in the non-profit industry, located in Detroit, Michigan, to support our client with a medical leave coverage 40 hours per week. This role involves working on various tasks including fundraising, event coordination, and public relations. The ideal Public Relations Manager candidate will have a background in nonprofit communications or donor engagement or donor relations and will be skilled in community development efforts. This is a contract position with opportunity for long term employment. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage fundraising initiatives to support various organizational projects Plan and coordinate events to engage donors and promote our cause Develop and maintain donor relations to ensure continuous support for the organization Utilize CRM and database tools for efficient networking and communication Create and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness Plan and execute public relations campaigns to reach a wider audience Manage the creation and distribution of promotional materials and advertisements Coordinate blogging activities to share updates and stories related to our work Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud for designing marketing and promotional materials Implement strategies for donor retention to maintain long-term supportRequirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Public Relations role within the non-profit sector. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is required. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Demonstrated knowledge of database management. Proven ability to create effective advertisements. Experience with blogging and other forms of content creation. Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness. Experience in campaign planning and execution. Proven track record in donor retention and fundraising activities. Experience in coordinating and executing events. Strong skills in Public Relations and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission and goals. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
