Property Manager Assistant
Position Summary:
The Property Manager Assistant will support the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the apartment complex. This role includes assisting with administrative tasks, tenant communication, coordinating maintenance requests, and ensuring a smooth operation of the property. The assistant will work closely with the property management team to maintain a high level of tenant satisfaction and property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the property, including leasing, rent collection, and responding to tenant inquiries.
Maintain tenant records and process lease agreements.
Address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Assist in scheduling and managing contractors for property upkeep.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, email correspondence, and managing office supplies.
Assist with rent collection and deposit processes.
Help manage move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and documentation.
Maintain and update tenant contact information and ensure communication regarding property events, maintenance, or policy changes.
Support marketing efforts by helping with property tours and promotional events.
Ensure compliance with company policies, property regulations, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management or real estate is a plus.
Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate is preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work well with a team and independently.
Knowledge of tenant management software is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
