Job Summary:

Insurance Capitol, a division of Car Capitol, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Salesman to join our team at our El Paso location. The ideal candidate will hold a Texas General Lines Agent Property and Casualty License and will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and ensuring clients receive the best insurance solutions tailored to their needs. The role requires a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

Proactively generate new business by identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, and building relationships with customers.

Meet or exceed sales targets by selling property and casualty insurance policies to individuals and businesses.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain clients.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.

Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance policies and provide recommendations for coverage adjustments as necessary.

Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing expert advice and resolving any issues related to insurance coverage.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.

Educate clients on the various insurance products offered by Insurance Capitol, ensuring they understand the benefits and coverage of each policy.

Provide clients with accurate and thorough explanations of policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all insurance transactions are compliant with state regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate and complete records of all client interactions, sales activities, and policy details.

Prepare and present detailed insurance proposals and quotes to clients.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Agency Manager and other team members to achieve overall business objectives.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Texas General Lines Agent Property and Casualty License.

Preferably experience in insurance sales, preferably in property and casualty.

Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance products.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

High level of integrity and professionalism.
