Looking for a Assistant Manager for Family Medicine Clinic that is located in North of Houston, with 3 + years of experience.
Summary
Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of Family Medicine.
Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records,
getting pre-authorizations, communicating with patients in a friendly and courteous manner,
and collecting payments.
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories,
preparing patients for examination and administering medications as directed by physician.
Book Keeping.
Experience and knowledge of billing.
Clerical Duties
The primary clerical and administrative duties include:
Assisting patients with completing required practice insurance forms
Answering phones calls
Updating medical records
Arranging for required clinical laboratory services
Obtaining prior authorizations and billing
Possess excellent communication abilities in both oral and written skills
Scanning and pro in Quick Books
Possess strong organizational skills
Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Able to follow directions well under the physician
Assisting patients with scheduling needs
Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in a clinical practice setting (Family Medicine preferred)
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience with E Clinical works EMR is a must.
