Manufacturing Line Operators
We have an exciting opportunity to make great money! We are currently seeking machine operators and production Operators for a dietary supplement manufacturer in Anaheim, CA.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot gummy line kettle, depositor, and cooling tunnel. Comply with general GMPs, and follow Standard Operating Procedures to work safely and productively to meet deadlines.
1st shift-6:00 AM -2:30 PM ($19.00)
2nd shift- 2:00 PM- 10:30 PM ($19.75)
3rd shift- 10:00 PM-6:30 AM ($20.50)
All shifts require the ability to work Overtime as needed including a 6th day.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Measure or weigh raw materials for usage following the Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR).
· Operation of the gummy manufacturing line includes adding and mixing raw materials, ensuring proper process flow of gummy blend, and conducting in-process measurements.
· Closely monitor the cooking process, emphasizing pH reading and brix measurement.
· Spread the final product across drying trays and visually inspect gummies for quality acceptance.
· Clean and sanitize equipment and production room.
· Operate and maintain tray washing machine.
· Perform basic calculations including addition, subtraction, and yield percentages.
· Must be able to stand for 90% of scheduled shift including kneeling, stooping, bending, reaching, and reaching high altitude areas, must be able to lift/ push and pull up to 50lbs consistently.
· Ensure documentation is complete and accurate including manufacturing batch records, labeling, logbooks, and raw materials.
· Work safely following company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to follow written instructions including Manufacturing batch records, Safety policies, and Quality requirements.
Quality-conscious with excellent attention to detail.
Experience in food manufacturing, nutraceutical manufacturing, or possess mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work with Hot/Cold/Humid/Loud/Debris and strong smells
Ability to wear all required PPE such as masks, hairnets, ear plugs, gloves, eye goggles, robes and non-slip shoes
Experience working in a team environment and providing process verification for team members.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages.
Ability to pass Drug test, Background and participate in E-verify
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/Certificate; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
