Patient Services Representative
Well known healthcare organization seeks candidate to coordinate with office staff and patients to ensure accurate, prompt and courteous scheduling of appointments in busy Cosmetics Services department. This role is responsible for delivering superior service, answering phones, confirming appointments, communicating with all departments and individuals regarding matters related to patient care, and obtaining and entering accurate demographic/insurance information for all encounters including patient financial expectations. This position will be based in Carmel Valley with occasional travel to an additional cosmetic service center in Kearny Mesa. This role also has the potential for cross training in other medical specialty departments-Rheumatology and Dermatology.
Skills:
-Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with a courteous tone on the phone with patients, physician office staff and colleagues
-Proficient computer software skills in MS Office Suite
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) communications skills a plus
Preferred:
-Knowledge of cosmetic services (cosmetic surgery) highly desired.
