Ledgent Technology is seeking, on behalf of our client, a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer based in Miramar, Florida. This role offers a mix of remote flexibility and on-site work at client locations, with up to 25% travel required. You'll play a crucial role in optimizing and securing next-generation infrastructure systems while collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams.Key Responsibilities:Manage and support networking operations, including switching, routing, subnetting, and transport layer protocols.Provide support for AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on VPC networking and site-to-site VPNs.Work with hypervisors like ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox, ensuring virtualized environments are secure and efficient.Automate workflows using Bash and Python scripts, enhancing system performance and reducing manual tasks.Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity across all systems.Travel to customer sites and Points of Presence (PoPs) as needed, requiring an active passport, driver's license, and reliable vehicle.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in hardware, software, and operating systems support.Expertise in networking technologies across all OSI layers.Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.Proficiency with REST APIs and tools like curl and Postman.Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
