Licensing and Standards Technician
The Licensing and Standards Technician (L&S Tech) is responsible to ensure that PCL’s policies and procedures reflect regulations and processes as outlined in the OARs. Additionally, the Licensing and Standards Technician maintains a positive, professional working relationship with PCL team members.
The Licensing and Standards Technician has the skills to assist people to become person-centered, effective, and creative in the support offered to others. They have excellent data tracking, review skills, mentoring skills, and the flexibility to adjust to the needs of the person or group with whom they are assisting. This person is a true professional who embodies PCL's mission and values and represents those values in their interactions with teams within and outside PCL. This person is forward-thinking, a proactive problem solver, and focused on increasing opportunities to use the skills they possess.
Location: Monmouth OR Grants Pass Administrative Office (with occasional travel to other offices).
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), Non-Exempt, Hourly. Includes nights, weekends, and travel as scheduled.
Starting Wage: $19.50/hour paid every other Friday.

General Requirements:
-Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. Preference given to applicants with a college degree in a related field.
-Experience Requirements: At least 6 months of Licensing & Standards experience required.
-Must be at least 18 years old when employment begins.
-Pass a State/Federal Criminal History Check.
-Background screening, including employment and education history.
-Pre-employment drug screening (for the use of illegal substances in Oregon).
-Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
-Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR.
-Pass a pre-employment computer skills assessment.
Job Specific Requirements:
-Ensure agency service quality standards are maintained.
-Conduct assigned Reviews and Quality processes, including documentation, environmental, and medication review.
-Promote and model a person’s right to respect and dignity, individual choice and input, and health and safety needs at all times.
-Meet monthly with supervisors to review areas of support and help identify and resolve areas that are not following OARs and/or PCL policies.
-Including keeping detailed notes to send out after each meeting.
-Including updating the tracking of these meetings.
-Provide accurate reports on your caseload and assigned responsibilities
-Be part of a cohesive team that is inviting and supportive of new team members.
-Present articulately, engaging with adult audiences, understanding the different modes of learning.
