WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING WITH YOUR TALENTS
As an Administrative Assistant at Mitutoyo Research & Development America, Inc. (MRDA) you will be working as part of a close-knit Admin Team providing excellent support to MRDA’s engineers, scientists, and software developers. This is a full-time M-F onsite position (with occasional work from home). As a group, our Admin Team is cross trained in all aspects of our responsibilities, and we help each other.
Administrative Support: we perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks and duties, both routine and non-routine as assigned, including handling domestic and international shipping, covering the front desk, and occasionally running some business errands such as picking up food and going to the post office
Purchasing: we source and purchase components, materials, software, etc. as requested by team members; work with vendors to maintain good relationships and ensure items are processed correctly and arrive on time
Hospitality: we provide snacks and lunches for various on-site meetings and monthly company-wide lunches; plan, promote, and execute numerous fun, creative, and cost-effective events; tidy the kitchen area and replenish snacks and beverages
Travel: we provide domestic and international travel related services
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Providing excellent internal customer service requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities, and flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced, changing environment. You must also have excellent written and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant experience in a mid-sized, fast-paced, professional office environment (technology industry is a plus). We are willing to train a promising candidate who has experience that translates well to this position.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly wage range is $19.00-$24.00 per hour. The successful candidate’s wage will be determined based on job-related experience/ knowledge/ skills, education, and complexity and responsibility of the role. Benefits include 100% paid medical, dental, vision insurance (75% for dependents), 100% paid life and disability insurance, 6% matching 401k, 15 vacation days, 12 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days per year, and eligibility for performance based annual bonus.
