SL&C F&B, LLC is an emerging group of experts in the restaurant space dedicated to crafting & curating vibrant dining experiences that bring people together to celebrate the rich tapestry of Asian culture and cuisine.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests: Provide excellent customer service from the moment the guests enter the restaurant.
Guide Guests: Explain the Korean BBQ experience, including cooking at the table and making menu recommendations
Take Order: Accurately take food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
Prepare the table: Assist guests with grilling their food or demonstrate how to do it properly.
Serve food and drinks: Deliver appetizer, side dishes (banchan), and drinks in a timely manner.
Cooking for the guests: cook the meat to the restaurant standards
Maintain table cleanliness: Clear plates, reset tables, and ensure cleanliness throughout the dining experience.
Upsell menu items: recommend additional items such as beverages, sides, or desserts to enhance the dining experience.
Handle transactions: Process payments efficiently using the POS system, handle cash and credit card transactions.
Resolve guest issues: address any guest concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff: ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests.
Follow health and safety guidelines: adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
2 yrs of high volume Korea BBQ experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Korean cuisine or BBQ is a plus.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have ServeSafe and RBS certifications
