Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator in New Braunfels, Texas. The role involves managing and maintaining our network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. You will be tasked with handling a variety of responsibilities, including network design and implementation, firewall management, switch administration, and network monitoring. Responsibilities: Develop and implement network designs, ensuring the routing, switching, and firewall configurations meet business requirements and maximize network security. Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation, policy enforcement, and intrusion prevention. Oversee the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Juniper switches, including VLANs, port configurations, and link aggregation. Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures. Coordinate with network equipment vendors for support, maintenance, and upgrades. Utilize skills in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role Proficient in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies Knowledgeable in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies Proven experience with Active Directory and Backup Technologies Ability to handle Computer Hardware and Configuration Management Experience in managing Deployments and Database systems Skilled in operating Palo Alto Firewall and Juniper Switches Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and team management skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred Relevant professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a plus Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job.
