We are now seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in the Des Moines area.The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for HR department matters. You will assist with daily operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR operations.Responsibilities:

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, and organizing resumes.

Responsible for orientations and onboarding new employees.

Provide support for HR activities, including performance management, benefits administration, and employee training and development.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation for all employees.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
