Director of Finance
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves overseeing the activities of the business office staff in our organization. The position includes crucial responsibilities like maintaining revenue cycle processes, ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented effectively, and managing the daily accounting activities. This role is central to our industry, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations.Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the business office staff including billing, collections, financial counseling, utilization review, and data processing teams. Oversee the effective implementation of revenue cycle processes to maintain patient accounts receivable at an acceptable level. Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented effectively to minimize risk to the facility. Comply with generally accepted accounting principles as well as any other local, state and federal guidelines. Monitor and manage daily accounting activities and ensure accurate capturing and posting of all financial transactions. Regularly complete and distribute financial statements and productivity reports in a timely manner. Contribute to and monitor performance goals and objectives, analyze variances and develop action plans to achieve assigned targets. Ensure reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and implement systems of internal controls to facilitate a clean audit opinion. Assist in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for the organization. Collaborate with the corporate finance and accounting team in the annual independent audit preparation and process. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports of operating statistics and financial metrics as scheduled or requested.
