Order Picker / Forklift Operator

$20-24 Per Hour - Depends on Experience

Location: Fairfield, NJ

We are a dynamic wholesale distribution company with a 50,000 sq ft warehouse in Fairfield, NJ, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker & Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders along with warehouse organization.

Responsibilities:

- Order Picking: Utilize RF scanners / pick lists to accurately select products from warehouse locations.

- Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move pallets and products throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks as needed.

- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by ensuring products are stored correctly and conducting cycle counts as required.

- Warehouse Organization: Clean and organized warehouse by following established procedures and safety protocols.

- Teamwork: Work with other warehouse personnel to achieve daily productivity goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Requirements:

- Experience: Previous experience in order picking & forklift operation

- Certification: Valid forklift certification.

- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently & as part of a team

- Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
