Langston Bar & Grille, a popular and vibrant neighborhood bar located in the heart of Washington, DC, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced bartender to join our team! If you’re passionate about craft cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner

Prepare a wide variety of drinks following established recipes and customer preferences

Provide recommendations and educate customers about our drink menu

Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines

Stock and restock bar supplies as needed

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

Requirements:

Previous bartending experience preferred (2+ years in a busy bar or restaurant setting)

Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be at least 21 years old
