Program Management
Operationalize Ford’s Services Cycle Plan by overseeing the process and tool which aligns Digital Product feature roadmaps to committed Engineering work.
Partner with Services Strategy team to ensure hardware requirements are defined and incorporated into vehicle programs.
Collaborate with key stakeholders from Digital Product, Tech Strategy, Services Strategy, and Technical Program Management to standardize and operationalize services software development at Ford Motor Company.
Support all members of Integrated Services Leadership team to effectively plan and manage complex, cross-functional digital and offline projects from the initial ideation phase through final execution and sustainability.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Develop streamlined organizational communication and feedback channels, as part of healthy organizational change management; ensure transparency, awareness, knowledge, adoption, and recognition.
Represent Digital Product in weekly stage gate reviews.
Contribute to monthly governance forums, inclusive of Ford Executive Leadership members, to agree upon immediate required actions to resolve blockers and ensure on-deadline execution.
Increase consistency and efficacy across teams, aligning to workforce strategy and business priorities. Ensure Unified Backlog new demand has a robust intake and internal review process with each Digital Product team.
Risk Management
Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities and dynamic problem-solving skills.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, articulate risks, trade-offs and recommended prioritization based on a balance of business needs, constraints, and customer impact.
Metrics and KPIs
Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs that enable broader transparency and prioritization of work from new demand through launch.
Improve existing Digital Product quarterly business review (QBR) process to drive excellence and accountability in critical business deliverables across the organization.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the PMO team.
People Management
Act as Individual Contributor (IC) in the first year of the PMO, with the potential opportunity to become a people leader as the PMO evolves over time.
This position is remote unless the candidate lives within 50 miles of the Dearborn, Michigan office then they will be hybrid.You'll have
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of professional experience in leading organizational transformation and innovation, particularly enterprise agile transformations.
5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with autonomy in an unstructured environment.
5+ years of experience creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and associated dashboards to track project performance.
Even better, you may have
Master’s degree
Experience with in-vehicle architectures and their roadmaps, constraints and complexities.
Superior communication and persuasion skills; ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling data-driven story, and deliver recommendations for business action.
Ability to think critically and apply a design/systems thinking approach toward operationally efficient work
2+ years of Product Management / Product Ownership of embedded hardware or software development.
Familiarity with Jira, including as a Systems Administrator.
Process documentation and training experience.
Passion for self-growth and desire to learn new skills and gain knowledge.
Ability to influence without authority.
Entrepreneurial spirit, persistence, and resilience; methodical thinker with an ability to thrive on and drive change while navigating ambiguity.
