Compliance Specialist
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Compliance Specialist in St Augusta, Minnesota. This role is crucial in ensuring the compliance of our property operations within the industry. The position involves managing annual property recertifications, move-ins, income and asset calculations, and third-party verification processes. The role also demands excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Manage the annual recertification process for all properties Oversee property move-ins, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and accurately filed Regularly interact with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues, maintaining a high level of customer service Accurately calculate income and assets to ensure compliance with the program regulations Collect and manage third-party verifications for compliance purposes Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize MS Excel for data management and reporting Attend to multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Apply basic bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records Use mathematical calculations to ensure accurate income and asset computations. Requirements Proven experience as a Compliance Specialist for at least 2 years Proficient in mathematical calculations Strong customer service skills Basic knowledge of bookkeeping practices Proficiency in MS Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or relevant field is preferred.
