About this job, We are looking to bring on a few different Growth Marketing Translation Coordinators to help us with a few key functions in managing the Product, UX, and Growth Marketing translation queue. The primary goal will be to assist us in turning “first pass” automated translations into branded copy that conveys our tone and voice across various marketing communications (blog posts, sale emails, website banners, zings, CTAs, etc.).
This role will not be about just translating the copy but instead will be about taking an already translated copy and helping us ensure it strongly matches the branded voice we believe presents the best version to our customers. The language we’re currently looking to support in this first batch is Italian.
Additional responsibilities will include program management of our queue, coordinating with contracted translation specialists, updating existing repositories with approved translations, and helping us build an employee facing wiki. Initially, we’ll look to ensure SLAs are met and then expand operations toward supporting these additional responsibilities.
To excel in this position, we would look for someone who is comfortable working quickly to help manage our backlogs with an eye toward how we can improve. This team would serve as our local knowledge experts and partner with various business functions (UX, Product, Tech, Creative) to improve the experience for our end users while ensuring we meet our high bar for customer messaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Translate, localize, and edit copy for various campaigns and products that help us maintain branded voice across various markets
Identify process opportunities and gaps and coordinate with stakeholders on solutions
Review ticket statuses and help us ensure critical tickets are handled with speed and care
Provide health checks on your portion of the pipeline and ensure appropriate coverage is always available
Meet agreed upon SLAs for response and completion
Provide QA checks on already translated copy
Work with business partners and stakeholders to ensure our customers receive the right messaging at the right time
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience copywriting in the language specified or as a native speaker
2+ years assisting in project management duties helping to manage pipelines and improve workflows
Desire to seek out improvements in workflows, communicate new ways of working, and implement solutions.
Past experience crafting customer facing communications
Comfortable with finding opportunity in ambiguity
Strong problem-solving skills
Outstanding work ethic and organizational skills
Extremely detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Marketing experience in past roles
Experience within the media industry
Experience within a subscription model
