Welder

Our client in the Ringgold area is seeking a Welder with at least one year of recent Welder experience to join their team! The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality of finished products.

Requirements as a Welder will include but not limited, to performing welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Operate machinery including Crane, Forklift, Hydraulic Press, Pneumatic equipment, Bandsaw, and other tools. Other useful knowledge:

- ASME Fabricators

- Measure and inspect fabricated components using calipers and other tools to ensure accuracy

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to project requirements

- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and material quantities

To be successful as a Welder, you must have at least 1 recent year of True Welding experience. (Test will be given written and performance.) Reading blueprints accurately. Other qualifications needed:

- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

- Familiarity with operating Press Brake Machine, Plasma Cutting tools, and Pipe Threading equipment is a plus

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Experience in working with sheet metal is preferred
