Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst based in San Diego, California. This role primarily focuses on automating HR and infrastructure operations on a global scale. As a Programmer Analyst, your work will significantly contribute to our ability to respond to incidents like ransomware swiftly, automate M& A processes, and set up network devices efficiently. Key responsibilities: Apply your automation skills to enhance HR operations across all regions Develop and implement SOAR capabilities to respond to incidents like ransomware Take appropriate actions and perform auditing tasks as part of incident response Automate infrastructure development processes, including network device configuration Contribute to M& A automation, streamlining the entire HR operation process Train team members to manage Ansible workloads effectively Utilize tools like Ansible, Okta, Jira, and Workday in day-to-day tasks Collaborate with the team to improve existing automation processes Assist with other programming and analysis tasks as needed Requirements Demonstrated experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role Proficiency in Ansible and Workday Strong knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to design and update software database Understanding of software design and programming principles Good mathematical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Exceptional troubleshooting skills and ability to debug code effectively Strong understanding of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
