Position SummaryThe primary purpose for the Business Analytics Senior Analyst is to provide support for our web-based, self-service reporting tools and applications. The analyst will provide support to our core customers, including Account Management, Clinical Account Teams, Financial Analysts, Clients and Consultants. In providing this service, the analyst will need to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with rapid turn-around times on all requests. In addition to daily support work, employee will need to engage in business requirement gathering and testing efforts, to build solutions to address reporting needs, as well as to increase the efficiency of the department. This position requires combining business acumen with technical and analytical skills to perform day to day tasks. The position also provides the opportunity to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and improve business processes. A demonstrated understand of SQL relational databases, and PBM data is required. The analyst will need to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and will require cross-functional collaboration. This role will require a reporting and analytics background with many activities specific to client reporting and product performance.Essential FunctionsAnalytics – Perform data analysis, develop new reports, models and analytic solutions with innovative ways to present data in order to support our various stakeholders. This requires combining business knowledge and data acumen along with technical skills to efficiently develop reporting solutions. Knowledge of SQL via various tools and platforms is a requirement. Lead efforts and drive to business and/or technical solutions.Collaboration – Lead efforts and drive to business and/or technical solutions. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to work closely with engineering partners in crafting solutions, and collaborate with departments across the company including Product Management, Account Management, Finance, Operations, Pharma, Research, Advanced Analytics, and internal Knowledge Solutions areas. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to facilitate hand-offs between multiple areas and will be asked to provide SME support on multiple projects/initiatives.Project management and prioritization – Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to have good time management skills. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will be overseeing multiple projects and initiatives. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to be able to manage multiple initiatives at the same time and negotiate timelines/priority with stakeholders.Communication – effectively communicate goals, outcomes, direction to all stakeholders including internal employees. Create a unified voice and environment for open dialogue and collaboration.Qualifications

BS/BA degree or 1-3 years of relevant working experience

Superior analytical, strategic planning, communication and problem solving skills

Experience with Microsoft Office software, SQL, Excel, Python

Experience in pulling data and understanding relational databases. Strong business and organizational skills

Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Solid customer service, technical, analytical, and communication skills required
