Accounting Analyst
Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounting Analyst based in Austin, Texas. This role involves optimizing accounting systems, collaborating with finance and IT teams, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment within the finance industry.Responsibilities: Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting by analyzing and optimizing accounting systems Work closely with finance and IT teams to implement and upgrade accounting software Identify and resolve system issues promptly to minimize disruption to financial operations Develop and document system requirements and configurations in line with industry best practices Deliver training and support to end-users on the functionalities of accounting software Regularly monitor system performance and recommend enhancements or modifications as needed Ensure all accounting practices adhere to established standards and internal controls Leverage skills in CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Maps API, Microsoft Excel, About Time, AB Testing, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management to carry out key responsibilities effectively. Requirements Proficiency in CRM and Database management. Knowledge of EO/IR systems and Maps API. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with 'About Time' software. Experience in AB Testing. Proven auditing abilities. Understanding of budget processes. Expertise in capital management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information. Must have legal right to work in the country of employment.
