Tartine Bakery Pasadena is hiring a full-time line cook with daytime hours!

We're hiring a dedicated full-time café line cook to join our kitchen, where the essence of Tartine meets the vibrant heartbeat of Pasadena. If you're ready to contribute your culinary flair to our diverse menu and thrive in a bustling, energetic bakery / café at Tartine in Old Town Pasadena!

What you will do:

As a member of the culinary team, you will have a positive attitude, the ability to work collaboratively with a team, attention to detail, and a drive for excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Take pride in your workspace by ensuring a pristine prep area and helping maintain the cleanliness of the walk-ins and storage spaces. Candidates must have a reliable track record and proven kitchen experience and be skilled and dedicated line & prep cooks. Line cooks will be responsible for executing restaurant menu dishes and are open to being cross-trained in the pastry department, ensuring that Tartine's standard of excellence is met.

Prepare recipes promptly ensuring consistency and quality

Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift

Willingness to assist where needed throughout the kitchen

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 (DOE) + Tips

Shift Schedule: Varies between 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (DAY-TIME HOURS / NO EVENING SHIFTS)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays)
