Shop Assistant

We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks redo support the shop's operations.

Duties

Assist in all departments as needed

Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision

Support the maintenance of a clean and organized workspace

Maintain a productive and positive attitude

Pick up orders at local vendors

Skills Required

Experience in a warehouse, factory, or manufacturing environment is preferred

Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus

Must have a valid CA drivers license with at least 3 years experience and a clean driving record

Willingness to be trained, learn and word hard

Good general mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift and manipulate materials and use equipment

Knowledge of paint preparation is a plus
