Foreman- Outdoor Living/ Residential Construction
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Foreman to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The Project Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
Monitor quality control and safety standards on the job site.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
Lead and motivate the crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and develop effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Assist with the training and development of new team members.
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management is a plus.
Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant technology.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials and tools.
Walking and standing for extended periods.
Climbing ladders and scaffolds as needed.
