Reefer Trailer Mechanic

Diesel repair shop looking for mechanics who specialize in Refers and road service mechanics: who performs service and repairs on our trucks and customer vehicles

Work and help maintain including diesel trucks, trailers and reefers

Experienced diesel mechanic with knowledge in Refers, Cummins, Detroit, Mack and Cat.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to work on Reefer Trailers - MUST

Must be able to perform wider variety of overall mechanical tasks with minimal supervision

Must have ability to perform preventative maintenance repairs;

Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace ignition, fuel, lighting, electrical/computer control systems

Repair/ Rebuild engines

Perform work and maintain work area in accordance with company and DOT standards for safety

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Most work is done during regular hours but if trucks are down, be willing to work overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

$30.00 - $50.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

GENERAL MECHANIC: 1 year (Required)

Reefer Repair: 2 years (Required)

Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Required)

Driver's License (Required)
