The Position: Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager will assist with projects management of new business direction and overall company management.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management

- Assist in the coordination and execution of projects and initiatives.

- Track project progress and provide regular updates to the General Manager.

2. Administrative Support

- Manage the company calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

- Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting materials.

- Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items.

3. Office Management

- Oversee office supplies and inventory management.

- Maintain office organization and ensure smooth daily operations.

4. Communication Liaison

- Act as a point of contact between the General Manager and internal/external stakeholders.

- Ensure clear and effective communication across the organization.

5. Data Management

- Maintain and organize company records, files, and databases.

- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

6. Event Coordination

- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.

- Coordinate logistics, such as venue booking, catering, and attendee registration.

7. Research and Reporting

- Conduct research on various topics as requested by the General Manager.

- Compile and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

8. Special Projects

- Take on special projects and assignments as directed by the General Manager.

- Provide support in various business areas as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Educational Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).

2. Experience

- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.

- Experience in a small company or startup environment is a plus.

- Familiarity with the cannabis industry and market trends is a plus.

3. Technical Skills

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) is desirable.

- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.

4. Communication Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.

5. Organizational Skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
