Right now, we’re looking for graduates/Interns/co-ops/ apprentice students in procurement or engineering to join us to do career defining work.A career in General Procurement in the Supply Chain organization where none of us stand still.This position will be an integral part of the Lincoln Engineering team working closely with engineering, operations, sourcing, EHS, and quality assurance to maximize the effectiveness and compliance of indirect procurement purchases. The person in this role will perform the necessary strategic/tactical activities related to the timely delivery of materials and effective flow of communication and associated paperwork to ensure material availability to support projects & production schedules. This individual will perform the necessary strategic/ tactical activities related to on boarding and procurement to new and existing vendors to ensure compliance with company compliance, purchasing, engineering, and EHS standards.What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
Process requisitions, place purchase orders, expedite and track orders in support of project execution schedules.
Manage Request for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bidding process at site level. Work with above site Procurement as required.
Champion indirect procurement process at site to ensure compliance on major purchases.
Onboard new contractors and vendors through procurement, engineering, and EHS procedures.
Monitor and maintain approved vendor list to ensure compliance with company requirements. Trend data associated with safety, quality, and delivery of contract services provided under purchase order.
Monitor schedule and delivery dates for large purchases; resolve issues related to quantity, quality, delivery, and invoicing for assigned materials. Effectively expedite orders to prevent line down situations.
Negotiate pricing on large purchases to leverage GSK global contracts and relationships.
Develop and maintain preferred pricing with select vendor group to maximize cost savings.
Maintain data integrity in SAP with accurate supplier responses.
EHS Responsibilities – All Associates

Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases

Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.

Able to work onsite in Lincoln, NE
Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) during the Internship duration (12 weeks).
