We are looking for a Dental Financial Coordinator who likes variety in their job. The ideal candidate will also have experience as a dental assistant.

We are a well-established, single doctor general/cosmetic dental practice seeking a friendly, highly motivated professional to join our team. We are a digital office-charts, x-rays and scanner. Our team focuses on mutual respect, family, team work, efficiency, patient care and excellence in dentistry. You need a strong work ethic, great customer service skills and a healthy positive attitude. A sense of humor is always appreciated!

We are building a close-knit team that works well together and helps one another. We are seeking a motivated, efficient, organized, and friendly person to join us as we serve our wonderful Silver Lake community.

You are required to have at least 2 years of experience in Dental field.

This is a flexible job in which we use eAssist to help with a good portion of the traditional financial coordinator position. This will allow you to assist in other aspects of the office front and back.

We will provide training on the eAssist program. You would be the point person for our office to correspond with eAssist to attend weekly Zoom meetings, answer any questions and keep our claims processing smoothly.

You would be working with eAssist, verifying and batching the daily procedures, creating and presenting patient treatment plans, billing and completing accurate day sheets.

You would be working with our scheduling coordinator to fill the schedule, help work continuing care reports, creating letters and taking payments.

Answering phones and making calls when needed.

Be able to work in back office, assist doctor/hygiene, take xrays, sterilize instruments, child prophy, etc.

Be flexible to take on other projects like prepare safety meetings, verify office compliance

The right candidate will be multi-faceted and have the following attributes:

Work well with our scheduling coordinator and the rest of the team

A positive work ethic, great attendance, detail oriented, responsible and well organized

Fabulous communication skills, must be a “people” person

A motivated self-starter – great initiative and a "desire" to help your fellow coworkers (you don't have to be told) and see that "big picture"

Friendly demeanor and have a great attitude

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Understanding of health and safety regulations

Good computer skills-we use Dentrix

High school diploma; graduated from dental assistant school is preferred

Salary based on performance ability.

Office hours of patient care: Monday-Thursday 7:15am to 3:15pm

You would typically show up at 6:45am to prepare for the day and the 7:00am morning huddle. We normally take an hour for lunch. If you are looking for more hours, I am open to discussing what that could look like.
