Junior 2-5 Year In-House Corporate Paralegal
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior 2-5 Year In-House Corporate Paralegal to join our client's team based in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This role revolves around providing legal support in a corporate setting, conducting research, managing deadlines, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is an in-office role.Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day legal tasks under general supervision, including legal research and management of deadlines and projects Collaborate with co-workers, outside counsel, contractors, government agencies and business clients on legal matters or assigned projects Draft corporate minutes and other complex, corporate documents when necessary Maintain confidential and/or sensitive information Assist in maintaining entity status, entity formations, qualifications, and withdrawals Work closely with the Corporate Secretary Team to manage US and international legal entities, ensuring they remain in good standing Perform data entry, run reports, and help maintain the entity management database and other relevant databases Prepare legal documents to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Identify, gather and review information to comply with information requests, due diligence, or to investigate factual evidence of a transaction, event, proceeding or case.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal and must have a paralegal certificate, associate's degree or higher. Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat, Banner Ads, and Case Management Software. Knowledge of legal software and LexisNexis is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform billing functions effectively. Experience in briefing and calendar management. Skilled in claim administration and maintaining effective communication. Comprehensive understanding of corporate law is required. Candidate should possess strong organizational and multitasking skills. Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
