Post Doctoral Associate Phillips Med-Psychiatry - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - 24007255The core responsibilities of the position will be to analyze functional neuroimaging data in healthy and mood-disordered populations, to develop new skills in the application of more sophisticated analyses to neuroimaging data, to assist in other areas related to neuroimaging data in the Phillips' Mood and Brain Laboratory, and any other tasks that the Director of the Laboratory, may request. The position holder will work under the supervision of Dr. Phillips and junior faculty in her laboratory on multimodal neuroimaging data analyses on a new study examining neural network abnormalities in Bipolar Disorder, and the extent to which these abnormalities normalize on a ketogenic diet.Qualifications:This position calls for a Ph.D. degree postdoctoral level in neuroscience, medicine, psychiatry/psychology, or a related field. The candidate should have previous experience in fMRI neuroimaging data analysis and/or diffusion imaging data analysis, an interest in resting state functional connectivity analysis, and an interest in understanding the neural basis of psychopathology in youth and young adults. The candidate should also have previous experience in data collection, organization, and analysis.In addition, this candidate should have the ability to run sophisticated neuroimaging programs and statistical analysis packages, deal effectively with research participants, and convey research-related concepts in grants and publications.The University of Pittsburgh is committed to championing all aspects of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our community.
