Restaurant Manager Convivo Restaurant @ Santa Barbara Inn
Convivo Restaurant and Bar is currently seeking an experienced full-time manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service as well as strong leadership skills. They will embody teamwork, positive energy, and professionalism.
Convivo is a seasonal Nomad Italian restaurant created by famed restaurateur Larry Mindel and Chef/Owner Peter McNee, located in the Four Diamond Santa Barbara Inn directly across from East Beach with beautiful ocean views. We were included in the Top 52 Place to visit by the New York Times and have become one of the top dining destinations in Santa Barbara.
Specific Experience/Requirements:
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in restaurant management
Strong knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, wine, beer and spirits
Dedicated leader with strong attention to detail & commitment to service excellence
Experience coaching and developing a team of hardworking FOH staff by being present and available to staff and guests
Understanding of inventory, labor and cost controls
Knowledge of cash handling controls
Experience with scheduling and product ordering
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate directly, professionally, and respectfully
Proficient knowledge of IT used in restaurants including Toast POS, OpenTable, 7Shifts and Microsoft Office programs
Team player who can support management in developing a thoughtful and caring staff
Passionate about local and sustainable business practices & developing purveyor relationships
Experience resolving conflicts rapidly with professionalism and fairness
Must have schedule flexibility, weekend and Holiday availability, be able work on your feet for long periods of time, be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.

$65,000 - $70,000 base salary depending upon experience
