Customer Service Representative Senior
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative Senior in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The job function entails providing excellent customer service in a call center setting, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer queries. The role demands proficiency in the handling of customer credit applications, billing, payments, and claims information. Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls from customers including members, providers, and facilities, identifying their needs and providing appropriate assistance. Utilize complex computer systems to resolve customer issues, aiming to resolve on the first call. Foster strong relationships with members and providers by delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner. Listen actively and ask appropriate questions to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems. Conduct research on complex issues across multiple databases, working with support resources to resolve customer issues and/or collaborating with others to address escalated issues. Strive to meet performance goals in areas such as efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, and attendance. Demonstrate strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with customer concerns. Use critical thinking skills to problem solve and resolve customer issues. Handle authorizations for treatment and provide explanations of benefits. Perform payment processing duties and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in a senior position Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries Solid knowledge of payment processing and billing procedures Ability to draft clear and concise documentation pertaining to customer queries or issues Experience in claim administration and benefit functions Proficiency in using multiple databases and computer systems Knowledge of call center operations and workstation support Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A proven track record of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively Experience in providing authorizations for various customer requests Familiarity with TRICARE and other relevant systems Capacity to meet and exceed performance goals Ability to conduct research and provide explanations for customer queries Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities Experience working in offshore environments is a plus Regular and consistent attendance is essential Knowledge of facility management practices Proficiency in using call center equipment and technology.
