Description The Accounting Clerk – Accounts Receivable will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and efficient financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing: Generate and send invoices to clients according to established billing cycles and ensure accuracy of billing information.

Payment Collection: Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, track payment status, and manage accounts receivable aging reports.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions related to accounts receivable, including payments, adjustments, and credits.

Customer Communication: Address and resolve billing inquiries and disputes from clients promptly and professionally.

Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations and standards

Requirements

Proven experience (1-2 years) in an accounting role with a primary focus on accounts receivableStrong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
