Bookkeeper
Description We are inviting applications for a Bookkeeper position in our team located in Swedesboro, New Jersey. In this role, you will be working within the construction industry, handling various financial and administrative tasks using QuickBooks software. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required. Handle weekly company payroll processing through Paychex. Perform account reconciliation, including general ledger and all credit card activity. Assist in office duties such as general filing, answering phones, ordering supplies, and mail management. Utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks for various accounting and administrative tasks. Implement contractor accounting/administrative experience in daily tasks.Requirements Possesses a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field Demonstrated proficiency in account reconciliation Experienced in managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable Familiarity with bank reconciliations Skilled in bookkeeping practices and principles Proficient in data entry tasks Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with month-end close procedures Familiarity with payroll processing Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
